“SILICA WHITE” is a pure white fine powder and the finished concrete has a good light texture while concrete with conventional waterproof agent has darker color.
Concrete with “SILICA WHITE” has good viscosity and waterproofing effect. It has shiny, smooth surface with little color unevenness.
Because “SILICA WHITE” is a very fine powder with large proportion of Silica, it has better waterproof effect than conventional admixture and it is not necessary to add water repellant. SKELETON WATER PROOF STRUCTURE
Silica, main component of 「SILICA WHITE」, reacts with the calcium hydroxide in cement water produced through the hydration reaction to produce binding gel on cement particles (Pozzolanic reaction) which provides semipermanental water-tightness and enables to make single wall finish for basement.
Prevention of efflorescence
“SILICA WHITE” keeps calcium hydroxide, possible cause of efflorescence, inside the finished concrete to prevent the efflorescence.
IMPROVED RESISTANCE TO SALT AND CHEMICAL ATTACK
The addition of “SILICA WHITE” improves density and acid resistance of concrete. As the result, movement of chloride ions through the concrete is controlled resulting in corrosion prevention of concrete inside and reinforcing bars.
HIGH ABRASION RESISTANCE
